Tacoma Narrows

We planned to spend the day at the zoo a few weeks ago, but there was not a single parking spot to be found! So, we decided to take a hike across the new Tacoma Narrows bridge. It was a gorgeous day!! So perfect. We could see the Olympics and the Cascades covered with snow. The view was spectacular. We had to start from pretty far away, so it took a while to just get to the bridge. It was way far up...up with the sky and the wind and all...(quote from BOB:)) I was glad we did that. We are really trying to take more time to just get out and enjoy where we live. We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Great pictures! Doesn't it cost a couple bucks to cross the new bridge?

Yup, It's $4 if you're going to Tacoma...which I do every stinkin' day for work. It sure adds up.

How fun! When Josh and I were there 2 years ago we did get to drive across the new bridge. I don't know if I would be brave enough to walk it though.

About Me

My photo
I am a mom to three wonderful boys. My DH worked hard to allow me to stay home and raise these lil' guys for almost 11 years. I am now working at a local hospital as an inpatient pharmacy technician. This is a new adventure for me. I hope I can balance everything out. In my "spare" time, I love to scrapbook the memories we are making.
