Big boys

I posted pictures of Scott on here, but forgot to post these. Michael and Dallin have had an "interesting" season. Michael is at the beginning of his major's years and Dallin is at the end. One game in particular stands out. The team was behind and it was the last inning. The bases were loaded and there were already two outs. Michael was up at bat. OH BOY! He's struggled all season with these fast pitchers up here in majors. Tom called me at work, "Karen, you're never going to believe this!! Michael won the game for us. He had a huge hit and brought home the winning points." Oh, my little buddy needed that. It was great to hear how the whole dugout charged him and picked him up.

Mothers Day

What a bunch! I love these sweet boys with all my heart. I love being a mother! I love giving them all the love I can possibly give. In return, they share their love with me. The little buggers went into their rooms and gathered up all their "moneys" and put it in a little tin box. "Mama, it's all we have!" Durn. They made me cry. From a favorite movie, Hope Floats, "my cup runneth over!" These moments are the ones that keep me going....so grateful.

Aloha

Dallin and I at the USS Arizona Memorial. Very sobering....beautifully done.

Dallin and I during the luau at the PCC. It was fun and the food was delicious!!...Yes, I even loved the poi (sp?) The best was the roll they made from the poi. NUMMO.

What a beautiful, sacred place. I loved that we had the opportunity to stop in here. Very peaceful.

What an incredible experience! I am so thankful that I was able to take Dallin and go to Hawaii. Katie, my dear friend, also got to join us. It was a beautiful 5 days. I really loved the ocean!!! I could have bobbed around in there for the whole time:) There were only a few "incidents" involving coral and laughing too hard to swim. I'm going to have to go back now. The north shore needs my attention....oh, and I didn't get to snorkel. The water was indescribable!!

About Me

My photo
I am a mom to three wonderful boys. My DH worked hard to allow me to stay home and raise these lil' guys for almost 11 years. I am now working at a local hospital as an inpatient pharmacy technician. This is a new adventure for me. I hope I can balance everything out. In my "spare" time, I love to scrapbook the memories we are making.
