Happy Easter

DAD!!!

Dallin and Justin (whom we call Stephano now:))

Scott was NOT feeling good. This was a forced grimmace.

What a wonderful turn of events. I had to work all holidays last year, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas, etc. I was switched to the other weekend to cover for a few months, so I got Easter off:) We had a beautiful church meeting, and then off to Greg's for dinner. Mom and Dad made a delicious ham and I got to make desserts. After a short visit, then we were off to Tom's parents' house for meal #2. Ugh. It was tough, but we managed:) I love having family so close to share this time with.

Here we go again...

Yes, it is baseball time again. Luckily for us, Michael's tryout went well and he was drafted up into majors with Dallin. So, we get to have only two teams to handle instead of 3 like last year. Scott was also allowed to move up a tad early. He should be 8 to be in minors, but they let him move up at 7. THANK GOODNESS. He is certainly big enough to fit right in with the other boys (8-11 year olds) He's doing great, so far. I almost choked when they put him in a pitcher, though. YIKES. He did pretty good, for a 7 year old:) I laugh that he has to have the tongue out. Just like his mama! It helps, I tell ya.

Some people...

Some people cut the tree up and haul it out piece by piece. That's just not the way Tom Briggs likes to do it. Nope, he'd rather pull the whole thing out in one piece....Oh, and that garganshooous building in the forest is the boys' fort. It is just getting started.:) Boys

Woah Dallin!

Gotta say that 5 years ago, when we started baseball, we never thought Mr. Dallin would come out of his shell enough to really make any heads turn. Here we are now and he's 12....still in elementary school (6 th Grade). They had to try out for a draft for Little League. Mr. Shytalktonobodylessigottsta Dallin was the #1 draft pick:) I gotta say that I can shout this one because his skill is NOT from me:) That bugger has practiced his little heart out. Michael gets to be on his team this year because he's a sibling. So, at least he won't face Dallin as a pitcher. Should be a fun year.

Dallin is twelve!

HOLY SCHMOLY! I can't believe how my lil' Dalli'roo has grown. He is such a great guy. I am truly blessed to be his Mama. He is a very hard worker and helps me out a ton. Dallin loves his sports, but finds time to read and play piano, too. I am excited for this time in his life. I had to wear 3 inch heals to be taller than that bugger. He's just informed me that his size 13s are too small. UGh! I knew this day would come, but at 12??

And finally, Scott

Yes, Scott (#24) is attempting the basketball thing, too. He is so funny to watch. I have to keep reminding him that it isn't football...NO TACKLIN'!!! He is learning fast, with the help of the older two. I have no idea why the guy on the left is so darn happy?! Scooty, yur gunna bite your tongue!

Michael's turn! Number 14

I finally got to see one of Michael's games last night. He is having fun learning a new sport. He certainly has the height:) It is such great exercise, too...unlike baseball. He even made his free throw:) Good Job, Michael!

About Me

My photo
I am a mom to three wonderful boys. My DH worked hard to allow me to stay home and raise these lil' guys for almost 11 years. I am now working at a local hospital as an inpatient pharmacy technician. This is a new adventure for me. I hope I can balance everything out. In my "spare" time, I love to scrapbook the memories we are making.
